The World Fit Games are designed to get kids active while instilling the Olympic ideas of perseverance, competition and integrity.
Running the games at your school boils down to encouraging as much activity as possible. We provide a few resources and strategies built into our platform. Reach out if you’d like to discuss ways to integrate these into your class schedules.
Leaderboards
As students begin to log their activities, leaderboards will fill up showing each participant where they stand among peers, where they team stands and how the buddies are engaging. The leaderboards both inspire participants with healthy competition and get them talking with each other
Buddies
Students can invite Buddies to join them in the Games by sharing the link/QR code on the home screen of the Activities App. Buddies will then create an account. When they perform activities, half the points are donated to their Student Buddy.
Creating Active Mentors by encouraging students to invite Buddies is a key part of World Fit. Partnering with active adults lets the student get involved in their fitness routines. Students will see each activity a buddy performs, and gain ½ of those points earned! Buddies have their own leaderboard as well, so, game on!
Videos
Our daily videos feature Olympians acting as active mentors: providing motivation throughout the program and talking about what it takes to be the best version of yourself. Videos can be accessed via the tracking app and can be found in the WorldFit Guides site.
