A World Fit Participant is anyone who logs activities to be counted toward games. There are generally three groups participating:
Students #
1. Log into https://worldfitactivities.org
2. Go to the Participants tab
3. Enter Participants one at a time using the Add Participant button
4. Bulk Import participants by using the Import Button
a. Download the spreadsheet
b. Fill it out using Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets or any other spreadsheet program
c. Make sure to save as “csv”
d. Upload it
e. (If you have more than 500 students the process may time out. Please split them into multiple uploads. You can safely reupload students in multiple sheets and the system will recognize them by UniqueID and not create duplicates.)
Student Fields #
Name
In the past we’ve used nicknames so that the kids’ full names weren’t stored in our system outside of school. Please let us know if you’d like to use their full name. If you’re looking for a convenient way to create a name for students, using their teacher’s name and a two digit number (aka, Lee01, Lee02, …) has been successful.
Email
Some schools use email to communicate with students. If you’d like to include emails, we can send some score summaries to them, but it isn’t essential. If not, you may leave it blank.
UniqueID
It’s important that each kid has a unique ID. A school id is perfect here as it will let you track the student even where all the other fields may be anonymized. This will also let us keep the same student record year after year!
Teams
Teams are a core part of World Fit. In the past, we’ve usually done teams by homeroom named after the teacher. This year we have a lot more flexibility with teams. Students can be on as many teams as you’d like to set up. You could keep the student’s teacher as a team, then also add any sports teams, clubs, etc… that may want to come together to inspire the competitive spirit. We’re looking forward to working with you to see what may work here. You can always add/remove participants from teams later on.
If a student is on more than one team, please use a comma separated list in this field: aka:

Faculty #
Each faculty member you invite can also participate in the Games!
To invite faculty, please follow the Invite Faculty Members guide above.
Once logged into https://wordfitactivities.org, faculty members can access the World Fit App via the Participate link in the main menu.
If you’re inviting someone just to participate, choose Member as their role. If you invite them as a coordinator they will have access to the school’s full account. You can always change the role of a Faculty member later.
Buddies #
Buddies are participants invited by students. When they log activities, ½ of their points are donated to the student. These points are tracked alongside the student’s points so that inviting buddies is a game alongside individual activity.
Students can invite buddies by sharing the invite link in their App. The invite flow can also be accessed by teachers:
1. Log into https://worldfitactivities.org
2. Go the the Participants tab
3. Locate the participant (search, etc…)
4. Click on them
5. Click on the Community tab on their profile
